Carrie West is an experienced Assistant SENCO at Byron College with an extensive background in special educational needs coordination and inclusive school leadership. She holds a BA (Hons) in History and Politics from Swansea University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Inclusive Education from the University of Reading, as well as the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO). She has developed extensive experience working within both mainstream and specialist educational provisions across the UK. Carrie is skilled in leading collaborative, multi-agency approaches involving parents, teachers, external professionals, and local authority services to ensure high-quality, individualised support for students with additional needs.
