Happy π Day

March 14th is π Day (3/14 in the month/day) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π.
March 14th is also the anniversary of Einstein's birthday. In celebration of both events, our MSICT department ran a competition for pupils in Key Stages 4 & 5 to see who was able to reproduce the most digits after the decimal. Thanos in Year 12 came first place with 50 digits followed by Mina Ren with 46 digits, and both won 'pies' from the canteen!
Albert Einstein visited the school and ate pies in all shapes and sizes with our pupils.
