CGS MUN

9-11th December, 2016

Seventeen Byron College pupils participated in the 11th CGS MUN Conference at Costeas Geitonas School in Pallini.
The conference began on Friday, 9th December and lasted three days.
Pupils from schools in Greece and abroad including United Arab Emirates, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Sweden, Pakistan, Jordan, The Netherlands and Turkey attended the conference.

Our pupils represented the delegations of Brazil, Bangladesh and UNESCO in a lively and demanding conference simulating the procedures of the United Nations. The theme of the conference was Social Media 'Unlimited Possibilities, Potential Challenges'.

Our pupils were accompanied by their advisor, Ms. Emma Dodds, as well as Mr. James Scott.

Congratulations to our Year 13 pupil, Vasileios Ntogramatzis, who the won Best Delegate Award in 'The Economic and Financial Committee' representing Brazil.
