Space Camp Turkey 2016

As we announced to our school, further scholarships opportunities were offered to Byron College pupils for a third year running for this summer's International Space Camp Turkey, taking place in Izmir Turkey.

The Country Representative for SCT, Mrs. Elizabeth Athanassidis, had the pleasure of meeting the applicants from Byron College before half-term. After interviewing our applicants this year she was again extremely impressed with all of them and has chosen to offer five of the twelve scholarships available to Greece to Byron pupils.

We would like to congratulate Pantelis, Timotheos, Stavros, Spyros and Terry, and we look forward to meeting the other participants from the Athens Delegation at the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony!

Well done to all the pupils who applied as you are continuing to grow the Byron name, who knows in the future they might name it the 'Byron Scholarship'!
