Making Mountains Grade Six have been studying mountains as part of their Geography curriculum, from the different ways mountains are made, to the way they look on topographic and relief maps. Our project work covered the variety of mountain environments, wildlife, transport and tourism. On display in the classroom are our 3D-models constructed from topographic representations of different mountains.
Height shown by contour lines and shading. The closer the lines, the steeper the slope. Green = Lowland, Red= Highland
