Grade 10 Readathon Update!

The 10th Grade and their English teachers are to be congratulated for their brave attempts to read more for pleasure. Books sales were organised and a sponsored Readathon was held in December.

The benefits were multiple:

1. pupils were able to buy good second-hand books cheaply,
2. parents became involved in actively supporting reading at home,
3. books were added to the library collection,
4. the 10th grade exercised their organisational skills,
5. money was raised and donated to three charities: Action Aid, The Roald Dahl Foundation, Action Africa

As a way of thanking pupils a certificate to each participant will be presented during our Carnival Day celebrations on Thursday, February 15th, 2007.
