Drama in the Autumn - Senior School Productions

The Senior School Dramatic Production for 2006 is 'The Insect Play'. This political satire was written by the brothers Capek in 1922 and is just as relevant now as it was then.

The cast began rehearsals in September and seem to spend most evenings, weekends and half-terms at School. The Art Department  has been magnificent in producing a host of props and dramatic scenery. Pupils and parents have been busily making costumes.

The play is hilarious and will appeal to an audience of young, older and mature pupils and friends. However, Act 4 has been adapted (re-written?) by the cast and Ms Voutsadakis to provide a happier and more optimistic ending than the original and more in keeping with the season's spirit.

The play will be performed on Sunday, December 10th, 7:30 pm at the DAIS theatre in Maroussi.
